The Ultimate Guide to Creating an Evergreen Funnel
Are you ready to promote your coaching, course, products, or your services but you're just not sure how.
What if I told you that there is a simple way? I have created a checklist that will take you step-by-step on how to create an evergreen funnel that works for you around the clock.
So what is a Funnel? Well, an evergreen funnel is like having a dedicated team working for you 24/7, attracting, engaging, and converting leads on autopilot. Unlike traditional funnels that require frequent updates or are tied to specific dates, evergreen funnels are always "on," allowing you to focus on what you do best—helping your clients transform their lives.
Imagine a system that never sleeps, continuously bringing in new leads and nurturing them into loyal clients. That's the power of an evergreen funnel. It guarantees a steady stream of prospects, automates your sales process, and scales effortlessly with your business. And the best part? Once set up, it requires minimal maintenance, freeing up your time to focus on delivering exceptional value.
Here some simple steps to create your first or next Evergreen Funnel:
1. Determine Your Ideal Client:
The first and most crucial step in creating a successful evergreen funnel is understanding who you're trying to reach. Start by determining your ideal client. Who are they? What do they value? What are their struggles, and how can you help them overcome these challenges? Give your ideal client a name, think about their age, job, and what drives them. The better you understand your ideal client, the more effectively you can tailor your funnel to meet their needs. Click Here to complete a Client Personas. 2. Choose Your Traffic Source:
Once you've identified your ideal client, the next step is figuring out how they'll find you. Where do they spend their time online? Are they active on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, or TikTok? Or do they respond better to paid ads on platforms like Facebook, Google, or Instagram? Choosing the right traffic source is essential to driving the right audience to your funnel, so take the time to understand where your potential clients are and how you can reach them. My personal preference is using organic marketing, which is free. As an introvert, I love using Pinterest to drive traffic to my funnels, website and blog. My second choice would be Instagram. If your just getting started using Pinterest or Instagram would be ideal for you.
3. Create Your Lead Magnet:
Now it's time to create a lead magnet that speaks directly to their needs. Think about the biggest problem your audience is facing and how you can help solve it. Brainstorm ideas for a freebie—whether it’s a worksheet, checklist, eBook, video, or challenge—this should provide real value and addresses your ideal clients pain points. Tools like Canva can help you design a professional-looking lead magnet that resonates with your audience. ChatGPT is also a great tool to help brainstorm lead magnet ideas that speak to your ideal client.
4. Choose Your System:
With your lead magnet ready, you'll need a system to deliver it. Consider platforms like ClickFunnels or System.io, or utilize your own website by creating a dedicated landing page. The key is to make the process seamless, from the moment someone discovers your lead magnet to the point where they download it and enter your funnel. Design your landing page, thank you page, and download page with your branding in mind, and ensure everything is visually cohesive and professional.
5. Create Your Funnel:
Now it’s time to create your funnel. Start by designing a landing page that highlights the value of your lead magnet and encourages visitors to sign up. Once they’ve signed up, direct them to a thank you page and make it easy for them to download the freebie. Consider adding pop-up messages or other interactive elements to enhance the user experience. Finally, test your funnel thoroughly to ensure all the links work and the flow is smooth.
6. Create Your Email Marketing Sequence:
The next step is crucial—creating an email marketing sequence that nurtures your leads. When someone downloads your freebie, you now have their email, and it’s time to start building a relationship. Set up an email sequence that spans the first seven days, sending one email each day. Use these emails to introduce yourself, share how you can help, and provide additional value. Make sure to include calls to action that guide your new leads from being interested prospects to paying clients.
7. Check the Funnel Conversions:
Finally, once your funnel is live, it's important to monitor its performance. Keep an eye on conversion rates, click-through rates, and open rates to see how well your funnel is doing. If needed, tweak your funnel or adjust your traffic sources to improve results. Remember, the goal of your funnel is to take your client on a journey—from discovery to becoming a satisfied customer.
Conclusion:
Creating an evergreen funnel might seem overwhelming, but with a clear plan and the right tools, it’s entirely achievable. By following these steps, you can build a system that works for you around the clock, continuously bringing in leads and converting them into loyal customers.
